How to Improve Room Ventilation
If your ACH is below the recommended level, there are several things you can do to improve ventilation.
Natural Ventilation
- Open windows on opposite sides of the room. This creates cross-ventilation which is far more effective than a single window.
- Use the stack effect. Warm air rises. Opening a window high on one wall and low on another drives natural airflow.
- Keep internal doors open to allow air circulation throughout the building.
Mechanical Ventilation
